Genuine Connection in a Digital World
“It’s as much about the energy you project as it is about the content of what you say,” said a wise woman.
Oh wait, that wise woman was me! And I said it on Thought Leaders Talk Business, the podcast Debbie Fliehman hosts.
Debbie and I had a terrific conversation about a huge challenge for professional people, whether we labor for a multinational corporation, a small local business, or hang out a shingle on our own.
How do we communicate with authenticity and impact in an increasingly virtual world?
I hope you’ll enjoy listening to Debbie and me. And do let me know what you think with a comment below.
On a personal note, I’m about to move out of the home I’ve owned for 42 years and into a much smaller apartment. What a challenge, on so many levels! I’ll have stories to share as I settle into my new life.

Catherine,
Just want to wish you good luck and best wishes as you navigate the next chapter of your life. You’ve had a rough couple of years, losing your husband after caring for him during his illness. Downsizing is never easy, especially with all the memories you both shared in that house.
Consider the move to a “smaller” apartment as a fresh start and a new episode, because what else can you do? Hopefully, great new neighbors and exciting adventures will await you.
Best,
Helene Acker
Thanks, Helene! Yes, I’m ready for a new chapter! I’ll the packing and donating and schlepping is almost behind me. When I actually get settled in my new home, I’ll be ready for those adventures.
