My clients often worry that in describing their value, they’ll sound like they’re bragging or they’re too “salesy.” But that fear of boasting creates its own problem.

Catherine this is so spot on! Sometimes women especially are almost embarrassed or ashamed talking about their work. I say be bold and proud of what you do!
“Bold and proud” – words to live by, Susan. And yes, girls were (maybe still are) socialized to be modest, not to brag about ourselves, to hide our light under a bushel basket. Now’s the time to let our light shine.
