People ask me often, “How should I dress for my presentation?”
There’s no hard and fast rule, but I do have suggestions.
At some hipster conferences, casual dress is fine, but you’re usually better off to go dressier. That might mean business attire. Or maybe business-casual—but not too casual.
Solid colors are better for most people than prints. And please find out what color the backdrop is. You don’t want to stand in front of a black drape wearing a black dress–your audience will be watching a floating head.
